What DO they stand for, exactly?

Well, technically, she's talking about her and her money when she says "we"... John is just along for the ride.

um.... men certainly shouldn't just be along for the ride. They don't carry the child obviously, but they're part the deal.... or should be if they are reasonable men. As for the presidency, the same applies... Simply the fact that two people are joined together doesn't mean that we would elect them both president, but in reality -- can you really separate them? it's not really possible if they are truly committed to each other.
