Right Brain / Left Brain

OK this brain test, from Australia's Herald Sun, tripped me out for far too long today:

Which way is the dancer turning?

Dancer

If you see her turning clockwise you're "right-brained", if she appears to be turning counterclockwise you're "left-brained."

If you noticed the fact that she has nipples, you're guy-brained (according to Harris, anyway).

I would have pegged myself as a complete left-brainer (especially considering what I do for a living), but she spins decidedly clockwise for me. Who knew? I did manage to get her to go the other way, though, after focusing on the picture for far too long awhile.

Trippy!

Okay I see clockwise which would make sense because I know I am right-brained. But is it me or does she turn around after awhile?

Ow, my head!

Interesting... The first time I looked at it, I said "clockwise." The second time (after leaving the site and actually doing my homework) I said "huh, counterclockwise." This prompted me to refresh the screen a few times and it has been back to clockwise ever since.

There is no ambiguity and no optical illusion, whether you open only so you can see her head and ponytail, or whether you watch her outstretched leg and arm, the chick is pivoting in a clockwise direction. I tried hard to see her going counter clockwise. It just didn't happen.

The Phlebotomist sent me this in an email a few days ago. He sees her turning counterclockwise, I see her turning clockwise. He could eventually get her to "shift" directions. I, after going back to it many times, still can not.

I also did not notice her nipples until you pointed them out.

She's on a variable-length delay, methinks. You just have to watch for a while. Those clever Aussies.

She's turning clockwise.

If she were turning counter-clockwise, you wouldn't see her breasts silhouetted in the order: right, left; right left.

Holy crap---excuse my language, that's about as strong as mine gets. She does change directions!!! Tonight when I first slid down to this entry, she was clearly going counter-clockwise. So I started watching the same things I did before: ponytail, outstretched leg and arm and AS I WAS WATCHING those things, she changed directions and began going clockwise again. It was very subtle, very!! But as I watched for about 3 minutes, she reversed directions 4 times or perhaps 5. TOOOO WEIRD.
I guess that was also an "I was wrong." People don't get those from me very often. Ask T.

Amazing the things your eye run into when I was looking for the darwin fish humping the jesus symbol. went left and when I read further about the right brain - it switched directions...and switched. chillax
